Roland C. Jones, CIH
President

Roland (Rollie) Jones joined Vertical Technologies, Inc., and its subsidiary corporations, Environmental Connection, Inc., (EC) and Contamination Control Engineering, Inc., (CCE) in 1999, and has been involved in all aspects of environmental consulting performed by the firm. Rollie gained considerable expertise in the field of Industrial Hygiene through rigorous technical course work and study. During his tenure on the World Trade Center Transit Hub and Memorial projects Rollie demonstrated proficiency in sustainable building initiatives on assignments related to review and monitoring of the projects’ Environmental Performance Commitments, Sustainable Design Guidelines and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) requirements. His interest in combining industrial hygiene with green building has led to speaking engagements and publications.

Jordan Reed, CIH, CSP
Vice President

Jordan Reed joined Vertical Technologies, Inc., and its subsidiary corporations, Environmental Connection, Inc., (EC) and Contamination Control Engineering, Inc., (CCE) in 2017 and quickly established his technical expertise in the field of industrial hygiene. Jordan specializes in complex projects requiring multi-disciplinary expertise, including a portfolio of legionella projects. Jordan is a knowledgeable client liaison, with direct responsibilities for overall project coordination and management on matters involving microbial and biological agents geared toward indoor air quality studies, Polychlorinated Biphenyls, lead and asbestos. Jordan enjoys mentoring the younger staff members, providing them with the foundation for long and successful careers.
